Since 1970, our private Christian school has provided a nurturing learning environment for our students. Tabernacle Christian School was founded in the fall of 1970 and continues as one of the longest-operating private schools in Hickory, North Carolina. We are a ministry of Tabernacle Baptist Church and a member of the North Carolina Christian Schools Association and the American Association of Christian Schools. We serve families with students in PK3 – 12th grade from Catawba County and the surrounding areas.
