Our more than 140 nonprofit alliances share this thinking and inspire us with their work. Partnering with local charities is not a byproduct of our business, it's how we do business. So when you shop at Savers, you help support many local community programs. Another key difference is the relationship we have with our customers. We're constantly reinventing ourselves into what they tell us is important. Unlike other large retailers, we're a privately operated chain and take pride in getting to know the people who shop with us often times on a first-name basis. There's nothing we love more than hearing their stories on art of thrifting. In our 56-year history, shoppers have come to expect fun and surprise with each visit to our stores. We make it easy to find bargains on every aisle and our stores are filled with current looks, authentic vintage finds, housewares, collectibles, furniture and unexpected treasures at every turn. Our nonprofit alliances drop off thousands of items every day so no two shopping trips are ever the same. Our incredible inventory comprises unique, quality used goods as well as new merchandise, including closeouts on great items not found at other thrift stores.
