Dr. Dasharathy graduated with honors from Washington University in St. Louis with a degree in mathematics. Following her undergraduate studies, she was accepted into the NIH Intramural Research Training Award (IRTA) Program, where she performed research in reproductive epidemiology at the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development.
