Description
Dr. KuoJen Tsao is the Children’s Fund, Inc. Distinguished Professor in Pediatric Surgery and Associate Professor at McGovern Medical School at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth). Dr. Tsao is a clinical researcher with interests in diseases of the neonate and children. His primary research is focused on the diagnosis and treatment of neonatal gastroesophageal reflux disease as it relates to chronic lung disease of prematurity. Dr. Tsao has been the principal investigator or co-investigator on several prospective clinical trials. His research program supports medical students and surgical residents interested in pediatric surgical clinical research.
