Dr. Day, a Rochester, NY native, developed his passion for sports medicine while playing baseball at Penn State. He earned his medical degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, followed by a Family Medicine residency in Binghamton, NY. He completed his sports medicine fellowship at Virginia Tech and Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine, where he worked with Virginia Tech and Radford University teams and contributed to helmet research. After his fellowship, Dr. Day practiced at the Greenbrier Medical Institute in West Virginia, providing medical coverage for the PGA, NFL, professional tennis events, and the U.S. Olympic Ski and Snowboard team. Specializing in interventional orthopedics and sports medicine, Dr. Day focuses on non-surgical, minimally invasive treatments like ultrasound, injections, PRP/stem cell therapy, and tenotomy. He stays up to date with the latest research to improve patient outcomes.
