Cynthia Jun, O.D., F.A.A.O., is an optometrist and Clinical Instructor at the Wilmer Eye Institute’s Columbia, Maryland, location. Dr. Jun provides comprehensive eye care with research and clinical interests ocular surface disease, dry eyes and glaucoma. Dr. Jun has expertise in fitting specialty and rehabilitative contact lenses for post-surgical and diseased corneas.After completing an undergraduate degree at the University of California, Los Angeles, Dr. Jun earned her doctorate of optometry at the University of California, Berkeley. She then completed a residency in ocular disease at the Baltimore VA Medical Center in conjunction with the Wilmer Eye Institute. Following the residency, she worked in a private ophthalmology practice, where she gained extensive clinical experience. Over the years, Dr. Jun volunteered her services for residents in need and frequently presented lectures in the community.
