Dr. Weimer grew up in Seattle, where she developed her first love of science and water. She then attended Brown University in Rhode Island where she majored in neuroscience and played water polo. She attended medical school at UC San Diego. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, followed by a year as chief resident in Internal Medicine.
